Squares for the Numbers From 51 to 80

To find the square of the numbers from 51 to 80 , we should know the squares till 30.

Let we take the no 78.

Step 1:

·        78 =50+28

·         28² =784. Hence the last two digit of the number is 84 & we have carry over is 7.

Step 2:

·        The first two digit of the answer will be   25+28+7 = 60

·        Hence the answer is 6084

This method is only applicable for the square from 51 to 80.

Squares for the Numbers From 81 to 100

Suppose you have to find  the value of the  89²

Step 1:

·        89 is written as (100-11).the answer will have 4 digits ,we find separately last two digits & first two digits

·        The value of the last two digits will be equal to the (-11² =121), 21 is the last two digits & 1 is the carry over .

Step 2:

·        The first two digits will be got by  89 +(-11)+1 =79 , here carry over 1 is also added  to find the first 2 digits , it comes from the (-11² =121)

·        Hence 89²=7921

With these process we can find the square from 81 to 100.
